New Manulife Bank advisor support structure begins in 2016

As your District Vice President for Manulife Bank,  I am pleased to share some exciting news that could support you in gaining more influence over your clients' financial decisions in 2016.

Over the past year, we’ve examined our distribution model to make sure we’re providing the resources you and our banking customers want and need.

We’re making some significant changes to our advisor support structure to streamline the way we work with you, as well as our customers. These changes will make doing business with us even easier and we are confident you will witness increased efficiency in supporting your referral opportunities.

This January, you will be introduced to two key new roles within our sales organization:

1. Business Development Consultant: Your Business Development Consultant will be your primary point of contact with us . He or she will inform you on all of our products, discuss sales strategies and potential opportunities with you, and introduce you to other bank specialists when needed.
2. Retail Lending Specialist: The Retail Lending Specialist will be the territory partner of your Business Development Consultant. He or she will take your client referrals for Manulife One and Manulife Bank Select, manage all client contact through to funding, and ensure payroll (daily banking) and other Manulife Bank solutions are integrated with your clients’ mortgage accounts.

New district territories
Depending on where you live, you may be introduced to new but highly trained members of my team. That’s why although our new structure will not come into effect until Jan. 1, 2016, I am encouraging those who will be your Business Development Consultants to contact you in the upcoming weeks with more information on this new partnership for growth.
