2018 1st 60 Day RRSP Contribution Key Dates
Jan 2nd, 2018 to March 1st, 2018
- 3pm acceptance cut-off on March 1st, 2018 for direct trades
- 4 pm cut-off on March 1st, 2018 for wire trades (coded Current Period)
March 2nd, 2018 to March 5th, 2018
- RRSP contributions will be accepted as 1st 60 day if order ticket and cheque is dated on or prior to March 1st, 2018.
- 4 pm cut-off on March 5th for wire trades (coded as Previous Period). These will be accepted as 1st 60 day contributions.
March 6th, 2018 to April 16th, 2018
- Any exception requests for the contribution to be reported as 1st 60 days must be accompanied with a Letter of Indemnity (LOI) and proof that the order was completed on or prior to March 1st, 2018.
