On Jan. 26, several of our funds received awards at the annual Fundata FundGrade A+® Celebration of Excellence. Only 6% of investment fund products available in Canada got this recognition in 2022. This achievement shows yet again the ongoing strength of our wealth product shelf. See the full list of winners › | | | | Delays to delivery of some clients’ year-end statements | Due to unexpected issues, we’re anticipating a delay in printing and mailing a small subset of 2022 year-end client statements, as well as their corresponding advisor copies. Affected products include Canada Life™ segregated funds (including Preferred and Partner series) and guaranteed income products (GIO/DIO).
In the meantime, you can access policy details on Canada Life RepNet. Clients can view their statements on My Canada Life as they become available, if registered. While the majority of clients won’t be affected by these issues, we’re working to dispatch the impacted client statements as soon as they’re available in the coming weeks.

Watch the video › | | | | Change to contract process for new daily/guaranteed interest option (DIO/GIO) accounts | As of Feb. 1, 2023, when you set up a new DIO/GIO policy for a client, you now have to give the client a copy of their contract. Previously, Operations sent the contract as part of a welcome package. This new process is similar to the one you follow when you set up a segregated fund account. Make sure you also provide your client a copy of the signed application- Operations will no longer be doing this.
Access the DIO/GIO contract on RepNet. You can also order it by emailing Supply Services and asking for the Guaranteed interest and daily interest contract (70-0066).
