New permanent processes · Obtaining client verification through non-face-to-face (NF2F) means is now a permanent process for all insurance products. · The new relaxed underwriting rules for disability insurance are now permanent. · Some of the higher limits for underwriting critical illness insurance without vitals or fluids are permanent too: o Ages 18 to 40 for $250,000 or less of coverage o Ages 41 to 50 for $100,000 or less of coverage On the other hand, we’ve rolled-back some COVID-related temporary measures as services have become more accessible. We’ll continue to remain flexible and communicate any changes as they happen. Processes that are rolled-back to pre-COVID status · As we’re now able to obtain medical evidence closer to normal expected timelines, we’ve returned the protection of TIA and CIA to 90 days. · Random urine sampling has resumed for various ages and amounts. · We returned to our original $50,000 threshold for accelerated life and non-registered wealth claims on Sept. 1, 2020.
