Further flexibility in our easing measures

We recently announced the temporary easing of our underwriting requirements and have made the decision to add even further flexibility, effective immediately. You will find the details below. 

We are adding additional flexibility in the following age categories: 51 to 55, 56 to 60, 61 to 65 and 66 to 70. It should be noted that these new measures apply retroactively to requests signed as of March 11, 2020.

These and previous temporary measures apply until May 31, 2020. However, please note that this may change or be extended depending on the evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic.

With the temporary measures in place, no underwriting requirements are required for life insurance applications for the following individuals:

• Individuals between 16 to 50 years old for amounts up to $ 1, 000,000 (inclusively)
• Individuals between 51 to 60 years old for amounts up to $249,999 (inclusively)
• Individuals between 61 to 70 years old for amounts up to $99,999 (inclusively)

Note: No preferred risk for ages between 16 and 50.
 

The temporary easing measures for critical illness insurance also apply until May 31, 2020. However, please note that this may change or be extended depending on the evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic.
