FollowMe^TM Health: What’s new in 2018?

Plan Enhancements

We are pleased to announce a number of enhancements to our FollowMe^TM Health Premiere Plan for 2018. Enhancements include increased benefit amounts for prescription drugs, vision, registered specialists and therapists, and homecare equipment.

FollowMe Health is a great offering for clients who are leaving a group plan. With new plan enhancements, it’s now an even better option.

Rate Changes

There will only be a slight increase in premiums (ranging from 2% to 2.9%) across all four plans.   And even better, the FollowMe Health Travel Add-On rates will not be changing, keeping it an affordable option for clients looking to add emergency medical travel coverage.

• Both the enhancements and rate changes will take effect January 1, 2018.
• Updated marketing materials and Diamond View information will be available December 1, 2017.

OHIP+

Effective January 1, 2018, Ontario residents aged 24 and under will be eligible to receive certain prescription drugs for free with their health care number and a valid prescription. Therefore, the cost to cover Ontario residents within this age band will be decreasing.
