RE:  Doing Business amidst the COVID-19 Health Concerns

Further to our earlier communications regarding Global Pacific’s Emergency Response Plan (ERP), we wish to advise you of important recommendations to employ in the course of your day to day business operations.  It is our desire that you modify your business routine with a more heightened vigilance to fundamental health interventions in order to help protect your clients, yourself and your family members.
 
  1. Telephone Meetings and the use of Online Support Tools

    We encourage you to conduct your business in a non face-to-face setting (virtual meetings) over the telephone, and to utilize online resources such as electronic applications, and the Carrier’s online resources and tools on their websites.
 
When taking the application for your client, please get into the habit of asking the following questions:
  1. How is your health right now?
  2. Do you intend on travelling in the near future?  Where to, and for how long?
  3. Have you travelled recently?  Where to, and for how long?
  4. Has someone living with you travelled recently?  Where to, and for how long?

Electronic App (Life) | Open the iA Interface Software, Click on “Insurance”, and click on “EVO Launch” to the right.  Begin your illustration, entering in client last name, first name and date of birth, and all other relevant details for the product being applied for.  Once this has been entered, the “Go to the e-application” button will be highlighted in the bottom right hand corner, and you will begin the electronic application process, which will prompt you to sign in using your advisor code and password.
 
Electronic App (Savings & Retirement) | 
CLICK HERE (You will need to sign in to “Secure Access”, click “My Tools and Applications” at the top of the screen, click “New Issue – Individual Savings & Retirement”, then click on “Get Started”, and then “Continue” in the lower right) *Please remember to use your FundServ Code, and not your Life Insurance Code

Equitable Life:

  1. Delivering Applications, Settling Documents and Forms to Global Pacific
 
In order to protect yourself, your family members and the team at Global Pacific, we encourage you to submit any documentation to Global Pacific in the following preferred order:
 
  1. Fax documentation to Global Pacific at 604.581.2629
  2. Scan and E-Mail documentation to the appropriate Global Pacific Team Member
>For Policy Delivery, email to delivery@globalpacific.com
>For Applications, email to your Account Manager
>For Investments, email to 
investments@globalpacific.com
*We would advise you to use an application such as “Quick Scan” rather than taking pictures (poor quality) of documents to send via email, as this produces a higher quality image or PDF file which can be read nicely.  These apps are available from the app store on your cell phone (Android or iPhone).
  1. Place documentation in an envelope, and drop it off at our office using the mail slot at Global Pacific’s Front Door Entrance
