EXAMONE: CHECKING MEDICAL TEST RESULTS HAS NEVER BEEN EASIER AND FASTER

Always with a focus on doing what's best for your clients, we've been working with our partners at paramedical company ExamOne to offer a more comprehensive service that's adapted to the digital age when medical tests are required to process an insurance application.

Proposed insured can now get some of their test results online through the paramedical company's secure website.

The following ExamOne exam results have been available online since May 1, 2023:

  • Blood profile and urinalysis
  • Paramedical (height, weight, blood pressure and pulse rate)

This new feature doesn't only give your clients quick and easy access to their medical test results, they can also use the results for other needs, like giving a copy of the results to their healthcare professional.

A new feature and no work required!

WhoWhat
You
  • If medical tests are required, let the proposed insured know about the new feature when the policy comes into force.
  • Direct access to test results helps answer client questions and may reduce the number of calls.
ExamOne
  • The nurse who meets with clients gives them a pamphlet with instructions on how to get their test results online (how to create an account, log in, change their display settings, download and print the results, etc.).
  • Results are available on the site for 12 months.
Clients
  • The proposed insured can register directly on the ExamOne website.
  • Approximately 2 weeks after the tests, the person will receive an email to inform them the results are available.

For more information about our process for medical tests or for a list of our partners, go to Webi in the Underwriting – Information guide section under the Paramedical compagnies tab.
