| Changes to requesting a re-issue | - Effective Jan. 1, 2020, the process for requesting changes on newly issued placed policies (formerly known as re-issue) has been updated
- All placed policies will be treated as either a policy change or a replacement. These will no longer be treated as re-issues. This is applicable to any policy with a placed status, regardless of the date it is placed
- Some changes will no longer produce a new contract and will be handled as either a policy change or a replacement. You can learn more about these changes here
| Action required: Update advisor disclosure templates | - As a result of amalgamation, references to Great-West Life, London Life or London Life Insurance Company have changed to Canada Life or The Canada Life Assurance Company respectively
- To be compliant you must now change these references in your disclosure. No additional changes were required to the templates
