There is no doubt 2020 was a challenging year for all of us. Things certainly appear to be getting much brighter as we mark the halfway point of 2021. Your BC Provincial Advocacy Committee (PAC) has been hard at work advocating the need for BC’s government to introduce Title Protection legislation. |
In April, your BC PAC Co-Chairs Rob Bauml and David Webb joined Advocis staff for several productive virtual meetings with more than 35 members of the BC NDP Caucus, six of whom were Cabinet Ministers. The discussion surrounded the need for BC to take a leadership role in Western Canada by following the leads of both Saskatchewan and Ontario in passing legislation to protect the titles of Financial Advisor and Financial Planner. |

Momentum is growing, and we’d like for you to be a part of it! The newly created Advocacy Network brings members across Canada who wish to play a role in our advocacy success together in one place. Only those who are members of the Advocacy Network can attend Legislature Days, so don’t miss out! |
