Summer (and life!) is filled with distractions, but learning how to concentrate despite them is what you'll discover in Deep Work: Rules for Focused Success in a Distracted World by Cal Newport. This insightful guide to developing a rigorous training regiment for your mind that can produce massive benefits will be the next book shared by the Advocis Book Club - and this is a reminder that you could win a copy for signing up by July 29th!

There is no cost to participate – all you need at any time is the title currently being read by the group, and all members who sign up between now and the registration deadline of July 29th will be entered into a random draw to win one copy of the book.

The Advocis Book Club is hosted virtually in a private online forum where members can connect to discuss the current book and network with each other.

The group will spend two months on each book, so you'll have plenty of time to read! The club also focuses on business-related titles that are a good match for our financial advisor community. 

The Advocis Book Club is managed by PBC Guru.

PBC Guru manages professional book clubs for companies and members of professional societies, and are moderating the group to help make this program a great experience for all participants.

Staff from Advocis are participating and assisting with moderation as well. As a member, all you need to do is show up and enjoy!
