The Technology Task Force

Seeks New Members

Are you an Advocis member who is interested in the impact of technology in your daily practice? Would you like to lead the charge in raising tech awareness amongst your fellow members? If so, we encourage you to apply to the Technology Task Force.

About the TTF

The TTF is a group of Advocis volunteers who are passionate about technology. Some members have started their own fintechs; others have worked at the tech giants; and some are responsible for implementing fintech solutions in their own firms. TTF members are eager and proud to give back to the Advocis community by lending their effort and expertise for the benefit of all.

In the year ahead, the TTF will focus on:

  • DigiCat, the TTF’s marquee project, is a catalogue of key advisor-facing digital tools that can greatly enhance your practice
  • Tech awareness and member engagement through presentations at Advocis chapters and to a national audience through webinars
  • Influence on fintech development by building relationships with educational institutions and incubators, so that advisors are part of the solution
  • Being part of the conversation and having a voice at the table with the regulators that are fast-tracking fintechs

What the TTF is looking for:

The TTF is looking for new members who have:

  • Interest and experience in fintech matters
  • The bandwidth to be a full participant and work directly on projects and presentations that benefit the Advocis community
  • Experience on the tech side of product distribution at the dealer/MGA or manufacturer level
