Securities Regulators Propose Changes to Outside Activity Reporting

The changes aim to reduce burden by rationalizing regulators’ approach

In February 2021, Canada's securities regulators released a consultation which would bring about changes to the reporting requirements for outside activities. This Bulletin explains the proposals and includes examples of activities that, if the proposals are passed, would be always reportable, those that may be reportable and those that would no longer be reportable.
