Instagram is our newest social media platform at Advocis National, and we are jumping into its live broadcasting capability with both feet! In this weekly show on Wednesday afternoons, a member of Advocis will join us live to talk about and offer consumer tips on one of our weekly subthemes of Money Basics, Buying Basics, Planning Basics and Life Event Basics. To watch the show, make sure you're following us on Instagram and have mobile notifications turned on for your Instagram app - you'll get pinged the moment we go LIVE! The Advocis Podcast returns with a two-part series on financial literacy, and will also address the broader subject of what financial literacy was like in 2020 as advisors assisted their clients through the challenges of COVID-19. With great tips from a panel of member advisors and the hosting of Al Jones, these podcasts will make great listening for you and your clients as you continue to work from home and stay safe on long, bundled-up winter walks! Podcasts will be released bi-weekly, with the first episode arriving in the second week of November on Financial Advice For All. |

Our themes and subthemes for Financial Literacy Month this year are not only related to the importance of fundamentals in a pandemic - they're also a celebration of the integration of basic financial literacy into school curriculums in Ontario and Alberta! To recognize this, we commissioned a new video series starring the people who represent the future of financial literacy across Canada: Your kids! Releasing sporadically throughout the month - we're still getting submissions! - these videos are a charming and unexpectedly wise look at how children think about money, saving, spending and beyond. All videos will be available on Financial Advice For All, as well as posted directly to social media. |

We hope that both the new and existing resources on Financial Advice For All will be a valuable asset to you and your practice as you continue to work with your clients to engage them on the vital issue of financial literacy.
