Lifecheque® Basic is a simple issue critical illness (CI) policy that covers life-threatening cancer, heart attack, stroke, aortic surgery and coronary bypass surgery. To qualify, clients must be able to sign a health declaration. There are no medical questions or exams required. Policies can be purchased in face amounts of $25,000, $50,000 or $75,000, depending on the age of the client. Some target clients for Lifecheque® Basic are: - Clients with a family history of a critical illness
- Clients outside the acceptable build range for CI policies
- Clients looking to top up existing CI coverage
