| | Foresters Community grantsAt Foresters Financial, we believe in working with communities to make our purpose a reality. That’s why we invest time and money in ways we can work together to make a difference, including neighborhood programs, charities, and scholarships.
Foresters Community Grants allow members to plan local activities for their families and other Foresters members, creating exciting volunteer opportunities and family activities.
The new 2017 fiscal year has opened as of November 1, 2016. Community grants can now be applied for.
There are two types of community grantsCommunity Volunteering (CV) grants (maximum of $2,000)- CV grants provide members with the funds to independently organize volunteer activities that contribute to family well-being such as cleaning up a park, or assembling hygiene kits for the homeless, or gift packs for disadvantaged children.
Fun Family (FF) grants (maximum of $35 per person)- FF grants provide members with the funds to create fun family activities such as a day at an amusement park or sporting event, or an evening at the movies.
Community grant guidelines are as follows:- Members can apply for a maximum of two Family Fun (FF) and three Community Volunteering (CV) grants per calendar year.
- Members can apply for two grants per quarter up to a maximum of 5 per year.
- Payment is issued by pay card and can only be used by the organizer.
