Chris Menard

Chris Menard is the Vice President Mortgage Specialists at BMO, BC Interior and North. Chris has had many leadership roles at BMO over the past 24 years in Western Canada. Chris is proud to lead a great Mortgage team of 20 to success in helping their Clients with home financing.  Chris has always been a Mortgage lender and has pretty much seen or done any deal out there: no matter how complex, challenging or unusual. 

Debra Terry 

Debra joined the Bank of Montreal in May 2017 as a Mobile Mortgage Specialist, prior to this position; she was a Senior Partner in a financial planning firm in Kelowna dually licensed for insurance and investments until August 2016 where she sold her book and retired. Formerly she has held the following positions throughout her career, Branch Manager Royal Trust, Lending manager Canada Trust, financial planner Benewealth Strategies, investment specialist RBC, mother of 2 boys Josh and Matt, owner of a construction company Aussie Enterprises, a fully trained duradek installer and a retiree.

She works closely with financial advisors helping them identify opportunities to generate revenue other than life or investment and has brought actual case studies to work with you here today.

John E. Phillips

John E. Phillips is an experienced, service-oriented mortgage lender with over 20 years of financial services experience, ready to advise you from start to finish. He has guided countless customers with their mortgage needs - be it to transfer a mortgage, buy their first or next home, or to refinance their mortgage to meet other goals. 

Matt Baker Bio

I have been a mortgage specialist with BMO since September 2017. In the most recently completed financial year I was the top overall BMO mortgage specialist in the BC Interior (dollar volume, applications, etc.).  I have been in the financial services industry for 15 years, primarily as a branch and regional manager.  I am from Seattle and managed banks there as well as in Colorado and Australia for four years.  I came to Kelowna in 2017 after marrying my junior high school girlfriend.  I have four children from ages 13-26. I am multi-lingual being able to speak American, Australian, and Canadian. Of course, I speak Canadian the best.

Nicola Budd Bio:

Nicola joined BMO Bank of Montreal in August of 2010 & stepped into the Mobile Mortgage Specialist Roll in August of 2019. Prior to the Mobile Mortgage Specialist Roll Nicola was a Branch Manager and Branch Compliance Officer in Fort St John and has also held the following positions throughout her career: Assistance Branch Manager, Financial Services Manager, Mutual Fund representative, and Financial Services Co-Ordinator.

Nicola works with clients to find solutions for their specific needs and situations, often working with Financial Planners & Advisors for the most optimal solution. Today she will be reviewing a case study that provided a client with an immediate & future solution for borrowing to minimize unnecessary withdrawals from their investments.
