gurpreet.randhawa@sitkalaw.ca I was born and raised in Victoria. I am bilingual – I was raised speaking English and Punjabi. I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Victoria and subsequently moved to Toronto, Ontario where I completed law school. During my second year of law school, I made the decision to leave the cold winters of Ontario and return to the place I consider home. I articled and practiced at a firm in downtown Victoria where I gained knowledge and experience in the areas of wills and incapacity planning, estate administration, real estate law, employment law, and corporate and commercial law. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking the coastal trails, and volunteering for various non-profit organizations. I began volunteering at the age of 14 and currently I am particularly interested in organizations that advocate for individuals who are directly or indirectly impacted by mental illness. In this regard, I currently sit on the Board of the Bipolar Disorder Society of British Columbia. |
